NEEDS ASSESSMENT AND GUIDELINES FOR PROMOTING CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT OF TEACHERS UNDER PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN PHETCHABUN PROVINCE

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to study the needs assessment and guidelines for promoting classroom management of teachers under private schools in Phetchabun province. There two steps of research, the first step was the study of needs assessment of classroom management of teachers. By using the questionnaire with 306 teachers from private schools in Phetchabun province. The data was analyzed by means, standard derivation (SD) and arranged priority by Modified Priority Need Index (PNImodified). The second step was the study of guidelines for promoting classroom management of teachers under private schools in Phetchabun province. The data was collected by using interviewing method which was held by the 4 qualified experts. The data were analyzed by content analysis.

The findings indicated that

1. The results of a study on Priority Need Index (PNImodified) of classroom management of teachers under private schools in Phetchabun province found that the highest score of the Priority Need Index was education management, and the psychological atmosphere, respectively.

2. The results of a study on guildelines to promote classroom management of teachers under private schools in Phetchabun province found that the administrators should to participate in training and teachers should study and exchanged knowledge in the Professinal Learning Community (PLC) to develop the skill classroom management.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาความต้องการจำเป็นและแนวทางการส่งเสริม การจัดการชั้นเรียนของครู โรงเรียนเอกชน จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ โดยวิธีดำเนินการวิจัยแบ่งออก เป็น 2 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ ขั้นตอนที่ 1 การศึกษาความต้องการจำเป็นของการจัดการชั้นเรียนของครู โรงเรียนเอกชน จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ โดยใช้แบบสอบถามกับครูโรงเรียนเอกชน จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ จำนวน 306 ฉบับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการจัดลำดับความสำคัญของความต้องการจำเป็น (PNImodified) ขั้นตอนที่ 2 การศึกษาแนวทางการส่งเสริมการจัด การชั้นเรียนของครู โรงเรียนเอกชน จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ ข้อมูลได้มาจากการสัมภาษณ์ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ จำนวน 4 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา ผลการศึกษา พบว่า

1. ผลการศึกษาความต้องการจำเป็นของการจัดการชั้นเรียนของครู โรงเรียนเอกชน จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ พบว่า ด้านการจัดบรรยากาศทางการศึกษา มีดัชนีความต้องการจำเป็นมากที่สุด รองลงมา คือ ด้านการจัดบรรยากาศทางจิตวิทยา และด้านการจัดบรรยากาศทางกายภาพ ตามลำดับ

2. ผลการศึกษาแนวทางการส่งเสริมการจัดการชั้นเรียนของครู โรงเรียนเอกชน จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ พบว่า ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาควรส่งเสริมให้ครูได้พัฒนาตนเองเข้าร่วมการอบรม และจัดให้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ในชุมชนวิชาชีพ (PLC) เพื่อพัฒนาการจัดการชั้นเรียนของครู
