Abstract: This study aimed to develop, implement and assess the quality of lesson plans integrating vocational work for grade-8 students. Eighteen students were purposively sampled for the academic year 2023, participating in a 9-week research period consisting of two sessions per week, totaling 18 hours. The research employed six lesson plans, project-based English learning activities, an English language proficiency communication test and a Satisfaction Assessment Form. The data were analyzed with various statistical methods: rating scales, IOC, CVI, X, S.D., and T-test. The results indicated high scores for content appropriateness and media quality in the developed lesson plans. There was a significant improvement in students’ English language skills with average scores, increasing in post-course scores when compared to pre-course ones, particularly evident in communication speaking abilities. The findings highlight the effectiveness of project-based learning activities that integrate local vocational knowledge in enhancing grade-8 students’ professional English communication skills.
