A DEVELOPMENT OF THE ACTIVITY ON "ROAD SAFETY" TO STRENGTHEN AWARENESS OF ROAD SAFETY BY USING A PARTICIPATORY LEARNING PROCESS FOR LOWER SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract

The purpose of this study were to 1) explore the need for road safety in order to develop a "ROAD SAFETY" activity 2) try using the activity on "ROAD SAFETY" follow the process of research and Development. The participants were 20 junior high school students who were studying during semester 2, academic year 2020.

The research instruments were questionnaire, the activity on "ROAD SAFETY", an awareness test and a measure of satisfaction towards doing activities. Analyze data using content analysis. average statistics E1 / E2, standard deviation and dependent t-test statistics.

The results showed that the ROAD SAFETY activities using a participatory learning process had 4 stages: experience phases, reflection and discussion conceptual stage and the experimental / application of concepts applied. The activity on "ROAD SAFETY" using a participatory learning process had the efficiency standard of 82.56 / 81.37. the student who were learned through the activity on “ROAD SAFETY” using a participatory learning process had motivated to an awareness of road safety higher than before learning with statistical significance at the level of .05. The students who were learned though the activity on “ROAD SAFETY” using a participatory learning process had the satisfices in total was highest rate.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อสำรวจความต้องการเรื่องความปลอดภัยทางถนนเพื่อนำมาพัฒนาเป็นรูปแบบกิจกรรม “ROAD SAFETY” 2) เพื่อทดลองใช้กิจกรรม “ROAD SAFETY” ดำเนินการวิจัยตามกระบวนการวิจัยและพัฒนา (Research and Development) ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น จำนวน 20 คน ณ โรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาขนาดกลางแห่งหนึ่ง ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2563 เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ แบบสอบถาม แบบสัมภาษณ์ กิจกรรม “ROAD SAFETY” แบบบันทึกข้อมูล แบบทดสอบวัดความตระหนักและแบบวัดความพึงพอใจที่มีต่อการทำกิจกรรม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้การวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา สถิติค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน E1/E2 และสถิติ t – test แบบ Dependent ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กิจกรรม ROAD SAFETY ที่ใช้กระบวนการเรียนรู้แบบมีส่วนร่วม ซึ่งมี 4 ขั้นตอน คือ ขั้นประสบการณ์ ขั้นการสะท้อนและอภิปราย ขั้นความคิดรวบยอด และขั้นการทดลอง/การประยุกต์แนวคิด ซึ่งมีผลการประเมินความเหมาะสมของกิจกรรมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด
