ผลของโปรแกรมการสนับสนุนทางสังคมต่อความเครียดและความผาสุกทางจิตวิญญาณของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็งระยะสุดท้าย

Abstract

This study was quasi - experimental research, using a two-group, pre-test/post-test design. Objective was to examine the effectiveness of the social support program on stress and spiritual well-being among caregivers of end-stage cancer patients. The samples were caregivers of end-stage cancer patients who received treatment in NAN Hospital. The samples were selected by purposive sampling, 30 persons each group divided in control group and experimental group. The control group received usual care and the experimental group received social support program on stress and spiritual well-being among caregivers of end-stage cancer patients 12 weeks. The research instruments consisted of personal data, spiritual well – being assessment with its reliability 0.85 and stress assessment with its reliability 0.89 analyzed using paired t-test and independent t - test.

The results showed that

1. The experimental group had the mean score of preoperative stress level was significantly decreased (p < .001)

2. After receiving the program, the caregivers well-being score of the experimental group level was significantly increased (p < .001)

3. After receiving the program, the caregivers role stress score of the experimental group lower than before receiving the program (p < .001) .

4. After receiving the program, the caregivers well-being score of the experimental group was higher than before receiving the program (p < .001).

The study suggests that social support program on stress and spiritual well-being among caregivers of end-stage cancer patients can be use in caring for caregivers end-stage to reduce stress and increase spiritual well-being.

การศึกษาครั้งนี้ เป็นการศึกษาวิจัยกึ่งทดลองแบบสองกลุ่ม วัดผลก่อนและหลังการทดลองมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการสนับสนุนทางสังคมต่อความเครียดและความผาสุกทางจิตวิญญาณของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยมะเร็งระยะสุดท้ายเพื่อลดความเครียดและเพิ่มความผาสุกทางจิตวิญญาณของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยมะเร็งระยะสุดท้าย โดยประยุกต์ใช้ทฤษฎีการสนับสนุนทางสังคมของเฮ้าส์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ ผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยมะเร็งระยะสุดท้ายที่มารับการรักษาที่โรงพยาบาลน่าน คัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง กลุ่มละ 30 คน แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มควบคุมและกลุ่มควบคุม โดยกลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติ และกลุ่มทดลองได้รับโปรแกรมการสนับสนุนทางสังคมเป็นเวลา 12 สัปดาห์ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย แบบสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล แบบประเมินความผาสุก ทางจิตวิญญาณผ่านการตรวจสอบความเที่ยงจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาของครอนบาคเท่ากับ 0.85 และแบบประเมินความเครียด ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาของครอนบาคเท่ากับ 0.89 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติทีคู่และสถิติทีอิสระ

ผลการวิเคราะห์พบว่า

1. กลุ่มทดลองมีค่าเฉลี่ยความเครียดหลังการทดลองในกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุมมีความเครียดลดลงอย่างนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .001

2. กลุ่มทดลองมีค่าเฉลี่ยความผาสุกทางจิตวิญญาณหลังหารทดลองในกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุมมีความผาสุกทางจิตวิญญาณเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .001

3. กลุ่มทดลองมีความเครียดหลังการทดลองต่ำกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมหลังใช้โปรแกรมการสนับสนุนทางสังคมอย่างนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .001

4. กลุ่มทดลองมีความเผาสุกทางจิตวิญญาณหลังทดลองสูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมหลังใช้โปรแกรมการสนับสนุนทางสังอย่างนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .001

ผลการวิจัยเสนอแนะให้นำโปรแกรมการสนับสนุนทางสังคมไปใช้ในการดูแลผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยมะเร็งระยะสุดท้ายเพื่อลดความเครียดและเพิ่มความผาสุกทางจิตวิญญาณ
