การใช้วิธีสอนอ่านแบบบูรณาการของเมอร์ด็อค (MIA) ร่วมกับการ์ตูนชาดก เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ ของนิสิตชั้นปีที่ 1 คณะครุศาสตร์วิทยาลัยสงฆ์พุทธชินราช มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย

Abstract

The purpose of this research were 1) to develop and determine the effectiveness of learning activities to use of Murdoch Integrated Approach (MIA) with Jataka Comics to enhance reading comprehension skills according to the standard criteria of 80/80. 2) to compare reading comprehension skills before and after organizing learning 3) to study the satisfaction of the 1st-year students towards learning. Population sample was 1st-year students of Phitsanulok Buddhist College, 2nd Semester, Academic Year 2022, with a total of 18 learners, which were obtained using Purposive Sampling. The research instruments were 1) Lessonm plan 2) Comics Jataka 3) Reading Comprehension Skills test 4) Satisfaction questionnaire. The data were analyzed by the means of statistics, mean (x̅), standard deviation (S.D.), t-test for dependent variable and t-test One Sample.The results of the research were as follows: 1) The results of studying and probing on the effectiveness of learning suggested that the quality was at the highest level (x̅ = 4.50, S.D. = 0.77), and when it was tested for implementation, the efficiency was 83.10/80.93. 2) Reading comprehension skills after studying was significantly higher than that of the before studying at the .05 level. 3) The results of the first-year students' satisfaction on study the learning activities suggested that it was overall at the good level (x̅ = 4.15, S.D. = 0.18)

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) พัฒนาและหาประสิทธิภาพของแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้การใช้วิธีสอนอ่านแบบบูรณาการของเมอร์ด็อค (MIA) ร่วมกับการ์ตูนชาดก เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ ตามเกณฑ์มาตรฐาน 80/80 2) เปรียบเทียบทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ ก่อนและหลังเรียน และ 3) ศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนิสิตที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ ประชากร ได้แก่ นิสิตชั้นปีที่ 1 วิทยาลัยสงฆ์พุทธชินราช จำนวน 95 รูป/คน กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ นิสิตชั้นปีที่ 1 คณะครุศาสตร์ สาขาวิชาภาษาไทย และสาขาวิชาสังคมศึกษา ที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในภาคการศึกษาที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2565 ซึ่งได้มาจากการเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ 2) คู่มือการ์ตูนชาดก 3) แบบทดสอบ 4) แบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติค่าเฉลี่ย (x̅) ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.) การทดสอบค่าทีแบบไม่เป็นอิสระต่อกัน (t - test for dependent) และ สถิติทดสอบกลุ่มเดียว (t – test One Sample) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. ผลการสร้างและหาประสิทธิภาพของแผนการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ มีคุณภาพในระดับมากที่สุด (x̅ = 4.50, S.D. = 0.77) และเมื่อนำไปทดลองใช้พบว่ามีประสิทธิภาพ เท่ากับ 83.10/80.93

2. ทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจของนิสิต หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

3. ผลการศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนิสิตที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก (x̅ = 4.15, S.D. = 0.18)
