การพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยใช้แบบฝึกทักษะตามแนวการสอนอ่านของเมอร์ด็อค (MIA) สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 โรงเรียนวัชรวิทยา จังหวัดกำแพงเพชร

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) develop and determine the effectiveness of exercises based on Murdoch Integrated Approach (MIA), 2) compare reading comprehension ability before and after using exercises based on Murdoch Integrated Approach (MIA), and CEFR B1 level, and 3) study students’ satisfaction towards exercises based on Murdoch Integrated Approach (MIA). The sample was twenty-five grade 11 students who studied reading and writing (E30208) at Watcharawittaya School. The research instruments consisted of 1) exercises based on Murdoch Integrated Approach (MIA), 2) MIA lesson plans, 3) reading comprehension skill tests, and 4) a satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test dependent, and efficiency values. The results revealed as follows: 1) exercises based on Murdoch Integrated Approach (MIA) were effective 86.17/81.80. 2) students’ reading comprehension ability was significantly higher than before at .05 level and at CEFR B2 level; 3) students’ satisfaction towards exercises based on Murdoch Integrated Approach (MIA) was at a high level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) พัฒนาและหาประสิทธิภาพแบบฝึกทักษะตามแนวการสอนอ่านของเมอร์ด็อค (MIA) 2) เปรียบเทียบทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจก่อนและหลังเรียนด้วยแบบฝึกทักษะตามแนวการสอนอ่านของเมอร์ด็อค (MIA) และเทียบกับกรอบ CEFR ในระดับ B1 3) ศึกษาความพึงพอใจของผู้เรียนหลังเรียนด้วยแบบฝึกทักษะตามแนวการสอนอ่านของเมอร์ด็อค (MIA) กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่เรียนรายวิชา Reading and Writing (อ30208) จำนวน 25 คน โรงเรียนวัชรวิทยา เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ 1) แบบฝึกทักษะตามแนวการสอนอ่านของเมอร์ด็อค (MIA) 2) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวการสอนอ่านของเมอร์ด็อค (MIA) 3) แบบวัดทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ และ 4) แบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่าที (t-test dependent) และค่าประสิทธิภาพ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) แบบฝึกทักษะตามแนวการสอนอ่านของเมอร์ด็อค (MIA) สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 มีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 86.17/81.80 2) นักเรียนมีทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และอยู่ในระดับ B2 3) นักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจหลังเรียนด้วยแบบฝึกทักษะตามแนวการสอนอ่านของเมอร์ด็อค (MIA) ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก
