การพัฒนาชุดแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยการเรียนแบบ MIA (Murdoch) ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนวัดกลางวงศ์มณี จังหวัดพิจิตร

Abstract

The purposes of the research were to: 1)develop and assess the efficiency of the English reading comprehension skill exercises by using the Murdoch Integrated Approach for 6th grade students, which the researcher established based on the criterion 75/75; 2)compare students’ achievement in the English reading comprehension skill exercises by using the Murdoch Integrated Approach for 6th grade students, and 3) assess students’ satisfaction with the Murdoch Integrated Approach’s English reading comprehension skill exercises for 6th grade students. The samples were 14 6th grade students of Watklangwongmanee School. The research instruments were English reading comprehension skill exercises by using the Murdoch Integrated Approach, lesson plans, reading comprehension tests, and a student satisfaction assessment questionnaire. The data were analyzed with percentage values, mean, standard deviation and t-test. The research findings revealed that: The developed English reading comprehension skill exercises by using Murdoch Integrated Approach for 6th grade students was at 75.53/76.08, students’ reading comprehension skill after using the English reading comprehension skill exercises by Murdoch Integrated Approach was statistically higher than before at 0.05 level, and students’ satisfaction was at the high level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) สร้างและหาประสิทธิภาพของชุดแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยการเรียนแบบ MIA(Murdoch) ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่6 ที่สร้างขึ้นตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 2) เปรียบเทียบทักษะการอ่านก่อนและหลังการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้ชุดแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยการเรียนแบบ MIA (Murdoch) ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 และ 3) วัดความพึงพอใจหลังการใช้ชุดแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยการเรียนแบบ MIA(Murdoch) ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนวัดกลางวงศ์มณี จำนวน 14 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ ชุดแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยการเรียนแบบ MIA (Murdoch) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ชุดแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยการเรียนแบบ MIA(Murdoch) แบบวัดทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยการเรียนแบบ MIA (Murdoch) และแบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นของนักเรียน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและการทดสอบค่าที (Dependent samples t-test) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ชุดแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยการเรียนแบบ MIA(Murdoch) ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่6 มีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 76.40/76.67 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดไว้ ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่ได้รับการสอนโดยใช้ชุดแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยการเรียนแบบ MIA (Murdoch) หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ.05 และนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 มีความพึงพอใจต่อการเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก
