การพัฒนาหน่วยการเรียนรู้ Speak English with Confidence เพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถด้านการพูดภาษาอังกฤษ ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4

Abstract

The goals of this study were 1) to research information for the Unit "Speak English with Confidence" in order to promote English speaking proficiency and to promote English speaking proficiency. 2) to create and test the Unit "Speak English with Confidence" to promote English speaking proficiency. 3) to compare English speaking proficiency before and after using the Unit "Speak English Confidently. Step 1 of the research methodology involved studying the necessary information for the Unit "Speak English with Confidence." Step 2: Create and assess the suitability of the Unit "Speak English with Confidence." Step 3: Analyze the results of the Unit "Speak English with Confidence" implementation. 3.1) A comparison of English speaking proficiency before and after the use of the Unit "Speak English with Confidence. The sample group consisted of 17 students from Bantorrang School, Kamphaeng Phet, in grade 4, semester 1, academic year 2022. 1) Unit "Speak English with Confidence" to promote English speaking proficiency was used in the study. 2) Assessment of English speaking ability. Basic statistics ( mean , S.D.) and t-test dependent descriptive statistics were used on data analysis.

Research findings were as follows:

1)The findings of the study of the information required for the development of the unit, which resulted in the following information: content related to the pronunciation of vowels, consonant sounds, sentences, conversations, or short articles used in daily life that is age appropriate. English pronunciation teaching methods. Should employ teaching methods that encourage students to practice in real-world situations. It could be online media with a native speaker as a teacher to practice accent, must be daily practice including a game-based teaching method that incorporates music to make learning more enjoyable. Teachers and students alike must be self-assured. as well as assertiveness in English pronunciation. It should take at least 10 - 15 hours. Evaluation and measurement Methods for evaluating students' English pronunciation should be used. Students are asked to test their pronunciation of words, sentences, and short articles using a Rubric score. including public speaking in front of a class.

2) The unit "Speak English with Confidence" included the following components: 1) the name of the learning unit 2) learning standards and indicators 3) essence 4) content of learning 5) learning objectives 6) Educational activities 7) task, 8) measurement and evaluation, and 9) duration The Speak English with Confidence learning unit is divided into five sections: 1. Check for Consonant Sounds 2. Check for Vowel Sounds 3. Mixing it all together 4. Let's talk about it. 5. Speaking Corner, 14 hours total. The outcomes of evaluating the learning unit's suitability, it was found to be appropriate at the highest level by the learning activity plan ( mean = 4.92, S.D. = 0.27).

3) Students who studied by Unit "Speak English with Confidence" had English speaking proficiency higher than before at the significant level of .05

งานวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) ศึกษาข้อมูลที่จำเป็นในการพัฒนาหน่วยการเรียนรู้ Speak English with Confidence เพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถด้านการพูดภาษาอังกฤษ ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 2) สร้างและหาคุณภาพของหน่วยการเรียนรู้ Speak English with Confidence เพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถด้านการพูดภาษาอังกฤษ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 3) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถด้านการพูดภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ก่อนและหลังการเรียนด้วยหน่วยการเรียนรู้ Speak English with Confidence ดำเนินการตามกระบวนการวิจัยและพัฒนา (Research and Development) ประกอบได้ด้วย 3 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ ขั้นตอนที่ 1 การศึกษาข้อมูลที่จำเป็นในการพัฒนาหน่วยการเรียนรู้ Speak English with Confidence โดยสัมภาษณ์ข้อมูลที่จำเป็นในการพัฒนาหน่วยการเรียนรู้จากผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการสอนภาษาอังกฤษ จำนวน 2 คน ครูผู้สอนรายวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ ระดับชำนาญการขึ้นไป จำนวน 3 คน และนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 จำนวน 20 คน ขั้นตอนที่ 2 สร้างและหาคุณภาพของหน่วยการเรียนรู้ Speak English with Confidence โดยการพิจารณาความเหมาะสมของหน่วยการเรียนรู้จากผู้เชี่ยวชาญ 3 คน ขั้นตอนที่ 3 การเปรียบเทียบความสามารถด้านการพูดภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ก่อนและหลังการเรียนด้วยหน่วยการเรียนรู้ Speak English with Confidence กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 โรงเรียนบ้านตอรัง จังหวัดกำแพงเพชร ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2565 จำนวน 17 คน โดยใช้แบบแผนการทดลอง One Group Pretest-Posttest Design) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) หน่วยการเรียนรู้และแผนการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ 2) แบบประเมินความสามารถด้านการพูดภาษาอังกฤษ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และค่า t-test แบบ dependent sample

ผลการวิจัย พบว่า

1) ผลการศึกษาข้อมูลที่จำเป็นในการพัฒนาหน่วยการเรียนรู้ มีดังนี้ ด้านเนื้อหาควรเป็นการออกเสียงสระ เสียงพยัญชนะ ประโยค หรือบทความสั้นๆ ที่ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวันและเหมาะสมกับวัยของนักเรียน เน้นให้ผู้เรียนได้ฝึกปฏิบัติจริง อาจจะมีสื่อออนไลน์ที่มีเจ้าของภาษาเป็นผู้สอนเพื่อเป็นการฝึกสำเนียง ควรฝึกอย่างสม่ำเสมอและต่อเนื่อง ด้านวิธีการสอนควรใช้เกม เพลง เพื่อให้เกิดความสนุกสนานในการเรียนรู้ รวมไปถึงครูผู้สอนและผู้เรียนจะต้องมีความมั่นใจกล้าแสดงออกในการออกเสียง ควรใช้ระยะเวลา 10 - 15 ชั่วโมง และควรใช้วิธีการประเมินความสามารถในการพูดภาษาอังกฤษ โดยใช้แบบรูบริค (Rubric score) โดยให้ผู้เรียนทดสอบออกเสียงคำศัพท์ ประโยค หรือการพูดหน้าชั้นเรียน

2) หน่วยการเรียนรู้ Speak English with Confidence มีองค์ประกอบ ดังนี้ 1) ชื่อหน่วยการเรียนรู้ 2) มาตรฐานการเรียนรู้และตัวชี้วัด 3) สาระสำคัญ 4) สาระการเรียนรู้ 5) จุดประสงค์การเรียนรู้ 6) กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ 7) ภาระงาน 8) การวัดและประเมินผล และ 9) ระยะเวลา ประกอบด้วยเนื้อหา 5 เรื่อง ได้แก่ 1. Consonant Sounds Check 2. Vowel Sounds Check 3. Blending it together 4. Let’s talk 5. Speaking Corner รวมจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 14 ชั่วโมง ผลการพิจารณาความเหมาะสมของหน่วยการเรียนรู้และแผนการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้พบว่า มีความเหมาะสมในระดับมากที่สุด ( mean = 4.92, S.D. = 0.27)

3) นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่เรียนด้วยหน่วยการเรียนรู้ Speak English with Confidence มีความสามารถด้านการพูดภาษาอังกฤษหลังเรียน สูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
