รูปแบบการบริหารสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในยุคดิจิทัล

Abstract

The rapid changing of the digital world demands guidelines evaluation, especially in the administration of higher education institutions. This research aimed to examine the approaches involved in the administration of higher education institutions in the digital era. The research methodology employed in this study was conducted in three phases. Phase 1 involves the analysis of the management of the higher education institutions in the digital era. This phase is further divided into 2 sub-stages: 1) by synthesizing documents, and 2) by interviewing a group of informants which consisted of 7 distinguished specialists involved in the supervision of tertiary educational institutions.Interview format and content analysis were used in this phase.Phase 2 comprises of the establishment and verification of the suitability of higher education institution management model in the digital era which consists of 1) drafting the management model for higher education institutions in the digital era, and 2) the examination of the appropriateness of the higher education institution management model in the digital era by qualified persons. Phase 3 covers the evaluation of feasibility and advantages of the higher education institution management model as assessed by 38 higher education institution administrators. Questionnaires were used to gather data in phases 2 and 3, and responses were analyzed using standard deviation.

The results revealed that the management model for higher education institutions in the digital era involves five key components: 1) institutional objectives, 2) principles of higher education institutions, 3) scope of administrative work, 4) management processes, and 5) evaluation performance appraisal. According to the findings of the study, renowned experts regarded the appropriateness of the management model for higher education institutions in the digital era to be at the highest level. Furthermore, higher education administrators are of the opinion that the institutional management model’s feasibility is high and its benefits are even highest level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อพัฒนารูปแบบการบริหารสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในยุคดิจิทัล วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย แบ่งออกเป็น 3 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ ขั้นตอนที่ 1 การศึกษาองค์ประกอบและแนวทางการบริหารสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในยุคดิจิทัล โดยการสังเคราะห์เอกสารและสัมภาษณ์ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ จำนวน 7 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสังเคราะห์เอกสาร และแบบสัมภาษณ์ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ขั้นตอนที่ 2 การสร้างและตรวจสอบความเหมาะสมของรูปแบบการบริหารสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในยุคดิจิทัล โดยผู้วิจัยยกร่างรูปแบบและตรวจสอบความเหมาะสมของรูปแบบ โดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ จำนวน 11 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการหาค่าเฉลี่ยและส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ขั้นตอนที่ 3 การประเมินความเป็นไปได้และความเป็นประโยชน์ของรูปแบบการบริหารสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในยุคดิจิทัล โดยผู้บริหารสถาบันอุดมศึกษา จำนวน 38 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการหาค่าเฉลี่ยและส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัย พบว่า รูปแบบการบริหารสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในยุคดิจิทัล มี 5 องค์ประกอบ ได้แก่ 1) วัตถุประสงค์ของการบริหารสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในยุคดิจิทัล 2) หลักการบริหารสถาบัน อุดมศึกษาในยุคดิจิทัล 3) ขอบข่ายภาระงานการบริหารสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในยุคดิจิทัล 4) กระบวน การบริหารสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในยุคดิจิทัล และ 5) แนวทางการประเมินรูปแบบการบริหารสถาบัน อุดมศึกษาในยุคดิจิทัล รวมทั้งเงื่อนไขความสำเร็จ ผลการตรวจสอบรูปแบบการบริหารสถาบัน อุดมศึกษาในยุคดิจิทัล พบว่า มีความเหมาะสมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด รูปแบบการบริหารสถาบัน อุดมศึกษาในยุคดิจิทัลมีความเป็นไปได้อยู่ในระดับมาก และมีความเป็นประโยชน์อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด
