Abstract

The purposes of this article consists of two main objectives. First is to study the Transmission Adaptation of Chaomae Thapthim tradition in Phichai District, Uttaradit. And To analyze the determinants which has influence the inheritance and the adjustment of Chaomae Thapthim tradition, Uttaradit.

Secondly, the research aims to study Communication methods implementing Chaomae Thapthim tradition in Phichai District, Uttaradit. The study is designed for qualitative research in fields of analysis conducted from a sender, message, transactional channel, and a receiver through in-depth interviews and documentation to collect data for analysis and interpretation. To define main data providers, the sampling is considered from relevant people inclusively playing roles tradition to accumulate in-depth data. also, in-depth information of the tradition.

The research finds that Chinese emigration in Thailand contributes cultural exchange reflecting the Chinese adapt into Thai society for living ability. The shrine committees have currently been selecting possible inheritors by blood. The adaptation maintains the Chinese cultural identity that consists Chinese opera. However, the Thai Chinese substitute outdoor movie tradition in case of the opera unavailability. Thus, The communication used in Chaomae Thapthim tradition initiates from the shrine’s committee to audience through new media including and traditional media, by the Central Northern Division’s events such as the Goddess bathing ritual. The Thai-Chinese culture is derived from specifically local integration and traditional practice of superstitions and ceremonies. Even though the social has change, the Thai-Chinese still maintain their old traditional.

วิทยานิพนธ์นี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการสื่อสารเพื่อการสืบทอด การปรับตัวประเพณีเจ้าแม่ทับทิมพิชัย จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ เพื่อศึกษากระบวนการสื่อสารประเพณีเจ้าแม่ทับทิมพิชัย จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ และเพื่อวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการสืบทอดและปรับตัวประเพณีเจ้าแม่ทับทิมพิชัย จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยศึกษาวิเคราะห์จากผู้ส่งสาร เนื้อหา ผ่านช่องทาง และผู้รับสาร โดยนำข้อมูลมาวิเคราะห์โดยใช้วิธีการเชิงพรรณนา โดยการเก็บรวบรวมจากการสัมภาษณ์ ใช้วิธีในการเข้าถึงข้อมูลด้วยการสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึก และเอกสาร การกำหนดผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลักรวมทั้งสิ้น 7 คน โดยวิธีเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง พิจารณาจากการเป็นผู้เกี่ยวข้องเพื่อเก็บข้อมูลเชิงลึกกับผู้ที่มีบทบาทต่อพิธีกรรม นำมาให้ได้ข้อมูลเชิงลึกอย่างครบถ้วน

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การอพยพชาวจีนมาประเทศไทยก่อให้เกิดการแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมประเพณี ส่งผลให้ชาวจีนมีการปรับตัวเข้ากับสังคมไทย เพื่อให้สามารถอยู่ร่วมกันได้ ปัจจุบันคณะกรรมการศาลเจ้ามีการสืบทอดผ่านสายโลหิต ซึ่งลูกหลานของคณะกรรมการศาลเจ้าจะเป็นผู้สืบทอด การปรับตัวให้เข้ากับยุคสมัยยังคงความเป็นจีน เช่น การแสดงงิ้ว แต่หากไม่มีงิ้วก็จะเปลี่ยนเป็นการฉายหนังกลางแปลงแทน ประเพณีแห่เจ้าแม่ทับทิมพิชัยมีการสื่อสารจากคณะกรรมการศาลเจ้าไปสู่ประชาชน โดยใช้สื่อใหม่ และสื่อเก่า ดังนั้น วัฒนธรรมไทย-จีน เป็นการผสมผสานเป็นรูปแบบเฉพาะของท้องถิ่นนั้น และปฏิบัติตามขนบธรรมเนียม ประเพณีความเชื่อ พิธีกรรม แม้ว่าสภาพทางสังคมจะเปลี่ยนไป แต่ชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนในอำเภอพิชัยยังคงปฏิบัติสืบไป
