M.S. Independent Study in Logistics and Digital Supply Chain-(Plan B)en_US
Cross-border e-commerce supply chain is mostly operated in a relatively fixed mode, demanding massive investments in logistics, customs clearance, and payment links, which often lead to resource underutilization, high operational costs, and inefficiencies in response to changes. It is crucial for managers to identify the factors influencing supply chain resilience, as this facilitates targeted improvement and management of resilience levels. After identifying these influencing factors, it is necessary to clarify the internal connections between different factors. Hence, this study aims to identify and analyze the factors influencing China’s cross-border ecommerce supply chain resilience and construct a relationship model of these factors based on the Fuzzy Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL). Firstly, an initial set of 16 influencing factors was derived from a comprehensive literature review, which was then consolidated into 10 influencing factors through structured expert validation process employing structured questionnaires with relevance and causality scoring mechanisms. Subsequently, the Fuzzy DEMATEL revealed that Agility in supply chain, Information Sharing, Government Support, and Cross-Border Logistics were identified as core factors with high prominence andD influence, actively driving the overall system performance. Finally, the research will propose plans to enhance CBEC supply chain resilience by fostering a more adaptable and robust supply chain framework suitable for dynamic global marketsen_US
