ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุที่เลี้ยงดูหลาน จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์

Abstract

This research is a descriptive correlation research design to assess quality of life and study factors related to the quality of life among older person who raising grandchildren, Uttaradit Province. The sample group consisted of people aged 60-80 years living in Uttaradit Province and was the main caregiver in raising 245 grandchildren. Data was collected during August - October 2022 by used a questionnaire. It had a reliability value of .904. Data were analyzed using frequency statistics, percentage, mean and standard deviation, Pearson Correlation and Eta Coefficient statistics.

The research results found that quality of life of elderly people raising grandchildren in Uttaradit Province as a whole was at a high level (x̅ = 3.69, S.D. = .45). Factors related to elderly people raising grandchildren included: sex had a relationship (r = 0.928, p = 0.047*), income had a positive relationship (r = 0.163, p = 0.011*), number of grandchildren raising had a negative relationship (r = - 0.127, p = 0.047*), anxiety had a negative relationship (r = - 0.305, p < 0.001**), participating in social activities had a positive relationship (r = 0.472, p < 0.001**) and receiving support from society had a positive relationship (r = 0.450, p < 0.001**) statistically significant at 0.05

Suggestions: Policies should be established to promote the provision of incremental revenue for the elderly who raise their grandchildren. Organize social support activities to encourage groups of elderly people who raise their grandchildren participated in various social activities including visiting home to assess well-being, mental health, and anxiety in elderly people who periodically care for their grandchildren to plan together Organize activities to reduce anxiety for the elderly who take care for their grandchildren by integrating with network partners in the area to provide the elderly with a better quality of life.

การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาในลักษณะการหาความสัมพันธ์ (Descriptive correlation research design) เพื่อประเมินคุณภาพชีวิต และศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุ ที่เลี้ยงดูหลาน จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้สูงอายุที่มีอายุ 60-80 ปี ที่อาศัยอยู่ในจังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ และเป็นผู้ดูแลหลักในการเลี้ยงดูหลาน จำนวน 245 ราย เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลในช่วงเดือนสิงหาคม - ตุลาคม 2565 โดยใช้แบบสอบถาม มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ .904 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน วิเคราะห์หาค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน และสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์อีตา

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า คุณภาพชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุที่เลี้ยงดูหลานจังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ ในภาพรวม อยู่ในระดับดี (x̅ = 3.69, S.D. = 0.45) ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับผู้สูงอายุที่เลี้ยงดูหลาน ได้แก่ เพศ มีความสัมพันธ์ (r = 0.928, p < 0.05) รายได้ มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวก (r = 0.163, p < 0.05) จำนวนหลานที่เลี้ยงดู มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงลบ (r = - 0.127, p < 0.05) ความวิตกกังวล มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงลบ (r = - 0.305, p < 0.001) การเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในสังคม มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวก (r = 0.472, p < 0.001) และการได้รับการสนับสนุนจากสังคม มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวก (r = 0.450, p < 0.001) อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ 0.05

ข้อเสนอแนะ ควรกำหนดนโยบายส่งเสริมการจัดหารายได้เพิ่มเติมให้กับกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุที่เลี้ยงหลาน จัดกิจกรรมแรงสนับสนุนทางสังคมที่ส่งเสริมให้กลุ่มผู้สูงอายุที่เลี้ยงหลานได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมทางสังคมต่างๆ ออกเยี่ยมบ้าน เพื่อประเมินความเป็นอยู่ สุขภาพจิต และความวิตกกังวลในผู้สูงอายุที่เลี้ยงดูหลาน โดยการบูรณาการกับภาคีเครือข่ายในพื้นที่ เพื่อให้ผู้สูงอายุมีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดียิ่งขึ้น
