ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็กแรกเกิดถึง 2 ปีของผู้ดูแล อำเภอลานสัก จังหวัดอุทัยธานี

Abstract

This research was a cross-sectional descriptive study aimed to assess child development promotion behavior and factors affecting child development promotion behavior from birth to 2 years of caregivers in Lansak District, Uthai Thani Province. The sample group of 420 people were randomly selected by systematic random sampling. The data were collected by using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and stepwise multiple regression at a significance level of 0.05

The results revealed that the sample had a high level of child development promotion behavior from birth to 2 years (x̅ = 2.43, S.D. = 0.50). It was found that factors could predict developmental promotion behaviors from birth to 2 years old among caregivers including playtime with children, method of childbirth, caregiver education level, knowledge of child development promotion, child-rearing experience, access to public health services, child morbidity, perceived barriers, and age caregiver factors. All of these factors accounted for 20.3 % (R2 = .222, Adj R2= .203) predicting developmental promotion behaviors from birth to 2 years old among caregivers. Therefore, related institutes including public health sectors and others in this area should provide training to educate about child development promotion, cooperate to find patterns or activities that will reduce obstacles to promote child development, and design activities to encourage play with children, as well as organizing health services to promote access to public health services. to encourage caregivers having consistently good developmental promotion behaviors from birth to 2 years old.

การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาแบบภาคตัดขวางนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อประเมินพฤติกรรมการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็กและปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็กแรกเกิดถึง 2 ปีของผู้ดูแล อำเภอลานสัก จังหวัดอุทัยธานี กลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 420 คน ได้มาโดยวิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเป็นระบบ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บข้อมูลเป็นแบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาและการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุคูณแบบขั้นตอน ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญ 0.05

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีพฤติกรรมการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็กแรกเกิดถึง 2 ปี ในระดับสูง (x̅ = 2.43, S.D. = 0.50) และพบว่าปัจจัยที่สามารถทำนายพฤติกรรมการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็กแรกเกิดถึง 2 ปี ได้แก่ เวลาในการเล่นกับเด็ก วิธีการคลอด ระดับการศึกษาของผู้ดูแล ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็ก ประสบการณ์ในการเลี้ยงดูเด็ก การเข้าถึงแหล่งบริการสาธารณสุข โรคประจำตัวของเด็ก การรับรู้อุปสรรคการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็ก และอายุของผู้ดูแล ซึ่งสามารถร่วมทำนายพฤติกรรมการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็กแรกเกิดถึง 2 ปีของผู้ดูแล ได้ร้อยละ 20.3 (R2 = .222, Adj R2= .203) ดังนั้นหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง ทั้งภาคส่วนสาธารณสุขและหน่วยงานต่าง ๆ ในพื้นที่ ควรมีการอบรมเพื่อให้เกิดความรู้เกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็ก ร่วมมือหารูปแบบหรือกิจกรรมที่ช่วยลดการรับรู้อุปสรรคการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็ก และออกแบบกิจกรรมเพื่อส่งเสริมการเล่นกับเด็ก รวมทั้งมีการจัดบริการสุขภาพเพื่อส่งเสริมการเข้าถึงแหล่งบริการสาธารณสุข เพื่อส่งเสริมให้ผู้ดูแลมีพฤติกรรมการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็กแรกเกิดถึง 2 ปี ที่ดีอย่างต่อเนื่อง
