สูตรสำเร็จและคุณค่าเชิงการวิจารณ์ในนวนิยายรักยอดนิยมของไทย

Abstract

This research had the objectives to analyze the formulas of Thai popular love novels with concept of Pamela Regis consisting of 8 elements and to criticize the popular love novels with literary theory for realizing the values of rational interpretation of texts by using 6 groups of theories by Gregory Castle. The popular love novels selected from the frequency of reproduction since 6 times and over during 2015-2018. The total was 20 titles classified into 3 groups were 5 historical love novels, 7 disguising love novels, and 8 family love novels.

The result found that 8 elements of formula consisting of society defined, meeting, barrier, attraction, declaration, ritual death, and betrothal were able to create 38 formulas of stories. The shortest formula consisted of 3 elements; society defined- barrier-ritual death. The longer formulas were able to be created unlimitedly by adding these elements into the story. The most used elements for lengthening the story were barrier, and society defined. The values of critics of popular love novels with various theories made us see more topics and methods of analysis from previous studies under the rational process of interpretation of text leading us to the wide and deep perspectives for considering literature.

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์สูตรสำเร็จของนวนิยายรักยอดนิยมของไทยด้วยแนวคิดของพาเมลา เรจิส 8 ขั้นตอน และเพื่อวิจารณ์นวนิยายยอดนิยมด้วยทฤษฎีวรรณคดีที่ทำให้เห็นคุณค่าของการตีความตัวบทอย่างมีหลักการ โดยอาศัยกรอบทฤษฎี 6 กลุ่มของเกรกอรี คาสเซิล นวนิยายรักยอดนิยมคัดเลือกจากจำนวนการผลิตซ้ำตั้งแต่ 6 ครั้งขึ้นไประหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2558-2561 มีจำนวน 20 เรื่อง แบ่งเป็น 3 ประเภท คือ นวนิยายรักอิงประวัติศาสตร์ 5 เรื่อง นวนิยายรักแนวปลอมตัว-สลับตัว 7 เรื่อง และนวนิยายรักแนวครอบครัว 8 เรื่อง

ผลการศึกษา พบว่า สูตรสำเร็จ 8 ขั้นตอนที่ประกอบด้วย สภาพสังคมกำหนด การพบปะ อุปสรรค แรงดึงดูด การเปิดตัวคบหา ความสัมพันธ์ถึงทางตัน การยอมรับซึ่งกันและกัน การให้คำมั่นสัญญา และสามารถสร้างสรรค์เรื่องเล่าได้ 38 สูตร สูตรที่สั้นที่สุด ประกอบด้วย 3 ขั้นตอน คือ สภาพสังคมกำหนด-อุปสรรค-ความสัมพันธ์ถึงทางตัน ส่วนสูตรขนาดยาวสามารถสร้างได้ไม่จำกัดด้วยการเพิ่มองค์ประกอบอื่น ๆ เข้าไปในเนื้อเรื่อง องค์ประกอบที่นิยมใช้เพื่อเพิ่มความยาวของเรื่อง ได้แก่ อุปสรรค และสภาพสังคมกำหนด คุณค่าของการวิจารณ์นวนิยายรักยอดนิยมด้วยทฤษฎีต่าง ๆ ทำให้เห็นประเด็นและแนวทางในการวิเคราะห์นวนิยายรักเพิ่มขึ้นจากงานวิจัยเดิม ด้วยกระบวนการตีความตัวบทอย่างมีหลักการและเหตุผลรองรับอันนำไปสู่มุมมองที่กว้างขวางและลุ่มลึกในการพิจารณาวรรณกรรม
