ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อพฤติกรรมของผู้ปกครองในการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็กปฐมวัย อำเภอลี้ จังหวัดลำพูน

Abstract

This research was a cross-sectional descriptive study. The objectives were to explore parental behaviors and to examine factors affecting their actions in promoting early childhood development, in the Li district, Lamphun province. The sample consisted of 228 parents, who had the responsibility of being the primary caregivers and sent their children to study in child development centers. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire and then analyzed using descriptive statistics and stepwise multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the mean score of parental behaviors in promoting early childhood development was 51.33 (S.D. = 6.64), which was of a high level. Perceived self-efficacy (β = 0.371, p < 0.001), situational influences (β = 0.233, p < 0.001), interpersonal influences (β = 0.222, p < 0.001), perceived benefits (β = 0.146, p = 0.006), and social status (β = -0.088, p = 0.047) were significantly correlated with parental behaviors in promoting early childhood development. These results may be used as information for related agencies to develop activities that will encourage parents to promote early childhood development.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาแบบภาคตัดขวาง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมของผู้ปกครองและศึกษาปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อพฤติกรรมของผู้ปกครองในการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็กปฐมวัยในอำเภอลี้ จังหวัดลำพูน กลุ่มตัวอย่างประกอบด้วย ผู้ปกครอง จำนวน 228 คน ที่มีหน้าที่รับผิดชอบเป็นผู้ดูแลหลักและส่งเด็กปฐมวัยเข้ารับการศึกษาในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยแบบสอบถามแบบตอบด้วยตนเอง และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนาและการวิเคราะห์สมการถดถอยเชิงเส้นพหุคูณแบบขั้นตอน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยพฤติกรรมของผู้ปกครองในการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็กปฐมวัย เท่ากับ 51.33 คะแนน (S.D. = 6.64) จัดอยู่ในระดับสูง การรับรู้สมรรถนะแห่งตน (β = 0.371, p < 0.001) อิทธิพลจากสถานการณ์ (β = 0.233, p < 0.001) อิทธิพลระหว่างบุคคล (β = 0.222, p < 0.001) การรับรู้ประโยชน์ (β = 0.146, p = 0.006) และสถานะทางสังคม (β = -0.088, p = 0.047) มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมของผู้ปกครองในการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็กปฐมวัยอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ผลของการวิจัยสามารถนำไปใช้เป็นข้อมูลสำหรับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องในการพัฒนากิจกรรมเพื่อส่งเสริมผู้ปกครองในการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็กปฐมวัย
