ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อพฤติกรรมการหลีกเลี่ยงควันบุหรี่มือสองในบ้านของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดชัยนาท

Abstract

The cross-sectional descriptive survey aimed to study secondhand smoke avoidance behavior and to explore factors influencing secondhand smoke avoidance behavior in home of junior high school students, Mueang district, Chainat province. The multi-stage sampling was used to obtain a sample of the 298 junior high school students, Mueang district, Chainat province who had been living with smoking family members. Data were collected using a questionnaire that was divided into 8 parts and was analyzed using descriptive statistics and Multiple Linear Regression.

The results showed that most of the junior high school students were male (52.78%), the average age was 13.77 years (S.D. = 0.92). Knowledge of secondhand smoke, attitude in avoiding secondhand smoke exposure, and family support were at a high level (x̄=6.93, S.D.=1.97; x̄=21.39, S.D.=2.71; x̄=10.25, S.D.=2.22 respectively), and had secondhand smoke avoidance behavior in home at a moderate level (x̄=23.14, S.D.=3.71). Multiple Linear Regression analysis indicated that perceived self-efficacy of secondhand smoke avoidance (β=0.118, p-value=0.014), access to school health resources (β=0.139, p-value=0.004), exposure time to secondhand smoke (β=0.110, p-value=0.024), and family support (β=0.517, p-value<0.001), and were significantly positively correlated with secondhand smoke avoidance behavior and were accounted for 35.20% of secondhand smoke avoidance behavior (R2=0.352, p-value<0.001). Relevant agencies such as Provincial Public Health Office and school should organize activities or programs to support and encourage perceived self-efficacy of secondhand smoke avoidance, in order to increase behavior in avoiding secondhand smoke among junior high school students.

การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาแบบภาคตัดขวางครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการหลีกเลี่ยงควันบุหรี่มือสองและศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อพฤติกรรมการหลีกเลี่ยงควันบุหรี่มือสองในบ้านของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดชัยนาท ดำเนินการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบหลายขั้นตอนเพื่อให้ได้กลุ่มตัวอย่างนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดชัยนาท จำนวน 298 คน ที่อาศัยอยู่ร่วมกับสมาชิกในครอบครัวที่สูบบุหรี่ เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วย 8 ส่วน และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนาและสถิติวิเคราะห์การถดถอยพหุคูณ

ผลการศึกษา พบว่า นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้นส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศชาย (ร้อยละ 52.78) อายุเฉลี่ย 13.77 ปี (S.D.=0.92) ความรู้เกี่ยวกับควันบุหรี่มือสอง ทัศนคติต่อการหลีกเลี่ยงควันบุหรี่มือสอง และแรงสนับสนุนจากครอบครัวอยู่ในระดับสูง (x̄=6.93, S.D.=1.97; x̄=21.39, S.D.=2.71; x̄=10.25, S.D.=2.22 ตามลำดับ) และมีพฤติกรรมการหลีกเลี่ยงควันบุหรี่มือสองในบ้านอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (x̄=23.14, S.D.=3.71) การวิเคราะห์การถดถอยเชิงพหุคูณชี้ให้เห็นว่า การรับรู้ความสามารถในการหลีกเลี่ยงควันบุหรี่มือสองของตนเอง (β=0.118, p-value=0.014) การเข้าถึงทรัพยากรสุขภาพในโรงเรียน (β=0.139, p-value=0.004) ระยะเวลาในการสัมผัสควันบุหรี่มือสอง (β=0.110, p-value=0.024) และแรงสนับสนุนจากครอบครัว (β=0.517, p-value<0.001) มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับพฤติกรรมการหลีกเลี่ยงควันบุหรี่มือสองอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ และสามารถร่วมกันทำนายพฤติกรรมการหลีกเลี่ยงควันบุหรี่มือสอง ได้ร้อยละ 35.20 (R2=0.352, p-value<0.001) หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง เช่น สำนักงานสาธารณสุขจังหวัด และสถานศึกษา ควรมีการจัดกิจกรรมหรือโครงการที่สนับสนุนและส่งเสริมการรับรู้ความสามารถในการหลีกเลี่ยงควันบุหรี่มือสองของตนเอง เพื่อเพิ่มพฤติกรรมการหลีกเลี่ยงควันบุหรี่มือสองในกลุ่มนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น
