This study aimed to develop alpha-mangostin (α-MN) loaded mucoadhesive patches for aphthous ulcers and investigates their physicochemical properties. Patches, prepared by solvent casting method, consisted of an ethylcellulose backing layer supporting a mucoadhesive gelatin layer loaded with α-MN. For mucoadhesive layer, the higher gelatin bloom strength correlated with increased puncture strength and elongation at break. Notably, the 300-bloom gelatin exhibited superior mechanical characteri...
This research aimed to study and make decisions on packaging materials and appropriate packaging structures using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to evaluate the factor loadings including physical characteristic of products (0.2041), cost of packaging structure (0.1879), target group (0.1721), uses (0.1580), transportations (0.1451) and food storage (0.1332). According to the expert, the highest factor loading was the physical characteristic of products because it was an important part a...
Currently, the classification of textiles based on fiber types has become a topic of great interest, particularly in the context of textile waste, which has multidimensional impacts. The main challenge is the need for classification technology that can be integrated with automated systems in the pre-cycling sorting process, without the use of high-spec laboratory spectrometers and the ability to operate on embedded systems with limited processing resources. Furthermore, there is a need to dev...
